Spend a summer afternoon discovering art, handmade goods and local creativity at the Highlands Art Walk!

This new neighbourhood event will transform 65 Street south of 112 Avenue into an outdoor art and makers market featuring local artists, craftspeople, musicians and Highlands businesses. Come browse, meet the people behind the work, support local creators and enjoy an afternoon in the neighbourhood.

The Highlands Art Walk has begun introducing this year’s participating artists and vendors:

  • Robin Light: An Edmonton artist whose paintings include natural and urban landscapes, neighbourhood scenes and other whimsical subjects.
  • Beverly Mozak Art: An intuitive, self-taught artist creating expressive abstract and mixed-media work.
  • Jessica Solange Art: Whimsical, fairytale-inspired pieces and upcycled textile goods.
  • Hanna D Made
  • Nest Embirdery: Edmonton-made embroidery kits designed with sustainability, environmental education and wildlife conservation in mind.
  • Christina: A self-taught watercolour artist inspired by the world around her and the beauty in details that are sometimes overlooked.

More participating artists and event features are still being announced. Follow @highlands.artwalk on Instagram for additional artist spotlights and the latest event updates.

The Highlands Art Walk is organized by Made in Highlands and 777 Artluck.

We hope to see you there!
