Revised 2026 Hall Construction Schedule

Due to the 100-year unprecedented rainfall experienced this summer our
construction schedule has been delayed, and requires a revision. The good
news is that progress continues to be made and there are now visible signs
of our new hall. The following is the revised schedule, subject to weather
and unforeseen circumstances:

1. The foundation has been poured and forms removed.
2. Week of Sept. 7, the plumbers and electricians will be installing the
interior sub-floor piping as the final interior grade is installed and
compacted.
3. Week of Sept. 14, Subtrades will be installing the exterior deep
underground piping for the sanitary sewer and water lines, tying into
the existing water and sanitary lines. They will also be installing
piping around the perimeter to handle stormwater from the roof – this
was unanticipated and new. This piping will now connect with Epcor
stormwater piping on 113 ave.
4. Week of Sept. 21 and Sept. 28, the final grade around the building will
be installed, bringing in black dirt to final grade and all concrete for
the exterior including the new walkway out to 62 Street will be
installed. The reason for this is so that the final concrete work is done
before freeze-up.
5. The framing will be done once the concrete work is completed
because framing can be done as the weather gets colder.
6. The site Superintendent said this afternoon that occupancy could still
happen at the end of February or early March as originally planned.
7. Landscaping will happen in the spring.
